Humanity everywhere

Humanity everywhere is an artwork in cardboard by Rudolf Boogerman. This artwork is made in the tradition of the Wooden Dimensions project, it consists of 4 doors which forms a fully 3-dimensional sort of cabinet, a closed World, with puzzle-shaped windows to look into from all sides.
In the center, we find a red figure that can turn around. It shows up in one of Rudolf”s other artwork: “The unknown sign I”. Here the figure represents humanity, full of passion, with the capacity to love but also an inherited desire to conquer, to occupy, to own everything, to be everywhere.

This mini-sculpture was created for the exhibition “Décacher” in Centre Culturel de Hotton, BE in 2017.
The video is made in January 2020.
