Human error series

Human error is a digital art series by Rudolf Boogerman using generative adversarial networks and image editing to express ideas about human nature and (r)evolution. The art series was presented on OpenSea on 17 September 2022. It took 2 months to create the collection.

All artworks in this series are 1/1 NFTs1 created with its own custom smart contract on the Ethereum blockchain2 which guarantees authenticity, registered ownership and permanent storage.

Glossary of terms

  1. NFT: Registered ownership of digital art via a smart contract that is permanently stored on the blockchain and available for everyone to see.
  2. Blockchain: Basically a server or a group of servers on the internet adapted for web3 applications.
  3. A Giclée is a digital print with archival ink that guarantees at least 80 years of unchanged colours. Never hang a print in direct sunlight since 1 hour of direct sunlight = 1000 hours of indirect sunlight.
